What we collect, and when

The quote request and contact forms ask for the information described below. Address suggestions also use a third-party service, as explained on this page.

Quotation request form

The quotation form collects the journey details you enter: pickup and destination, any additional stops, dates and times, return journey details, passenger numbers, luggage requirements, service selection and vehicle preference, how you heard about us, any additional notes you write, and your contact details — name, organisation, email address, telephone number and preferred contact method.

Contact form

The contact form collects your name, email address, telephone number if you provide one, the enquiry type you select, and your message.

The information you provide describes your journey or enquiry and gives contact details for a response. For questions about how your information is handled, contact City Elite Cars.

Form submission

When you submit either form, your browser sends the form contents directly to Web3Forms, a third-party form-delivery service, used to deliver form submissions. Web3Forms therefore processes your submission in transit, and their own privacy terms apply to that step.

If you choose WhatsApp as your preferred contact method, after your submission has been confirmed the site opens WhatsApp with a short summary of the journey ready to send — route, dates, times, passenger numbers, service selection and vehicle preference. You choose whether to send it. That summary deliberately excludes your email address, your notes, your organisation and how you heard about us. Sending it puts the message into WhatsApp, and WhatsApp's own terms apply to it.

Address suggestions from Google

The pickup, destination and stop fields on the quotation form offer address suggestions. To do that, the text you type into those fields is sent to Google's Places service as you type, and Google returns matching places. Google receives that text, and your IP address, as part of the request; Google's own privacy policy applies to it.

This only happens on the quotation page, only in the address fields, and only once you have typed at least three characters. If Google is unavailable or blocked, the fields keep working as ordinary text boxes and you can type an address by hand.

Miles, the website assistant

Miles answers questions about City Elite Cars and can take the essential details for a booking request.

Questions to Miles

When you ask Miles a question, that question and up to 12 recent messages from your Miles conversation are sent to this website's own server function, hosted on Cloudflare, and processed by Cloudflare Workers AI to write the reply. Cloudflare's own terms apply to that processing. Please do not include personal details in questions to Miles.

Your Miles conversation (the latest 15 messages) is kept in your browser so that it survives a page reload. Choosing Clear in the Miles header deletes it.

Hourly reply limit

Miles answers up to 25 questions per hour on each device. To count them, your browser keeps a random identifier. The website stores only a one-way hash of that identifier, the start of the current hour and the number of replies, in a Cloudflare database. No names, contact details, journey details or messages are stored there.

Booking requests through Miles

Booking questions are handled by the website itself, not by the AI. The details you give — name, telephone number or email address, pickup, destination, date, time, passengers, luggage, journey type and vehicle type — are kept only in your browser until you send them, close the booking request, or 24 hours pass. When you choose Send booking request, they are sent to Web3Forms for delivery to City Elite Cars, in the same way as the quotation form. Sending a booking request does not confirm a booking.

Saving your progress

While you are filling in the quotation form, your answers are kept in your own browser's session storage so that moving between the three steps, or reloading the page by accident, does not lose your work. This stays on your device, is never sent anywhere by the website itself, and is deleted as soon as your request is submitted successfully or when you close the tab.

Website storage and scripts

• The website code contains no analytics or advertising scripts.
• The website is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes requests to the site, including your IP address, in order to deliver it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask what information is held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how it is used, and to receive a copy of it. Contact City Elite Cars using the details above to make a request.
